Good NDISWhat Becomes Possible

Why we created the Good NDIS Initiative: What Becomes Possible

The public conversation around the NDIS often focuses on what needs fixing.

That's important. But it's only part of the story.

At Kismet Healthcare, we have spent years working alongside the NDIS, because we believe in what it stands for. We understand the scheme deeply, and we are committed to helping it be the best version of itself.

And we have seen, up close, what it looks like when the NDIS gets it right.

The Good NDIS Initiative was created to spotlight the people, programs and communities creating meaningful outcomes every day. Stories of employment, independence, participation and connection. Stories that remind us of what's possible when support works as intended.

We sat down with six Australians whose lives have been changed by the NDIS. A young man who went from participant to hospitality professional. An elite powerchair athlete competing on the international stage in two sports, who also coaches kids as young as ten. A founder who turned her own wheelchair experience into a school program changing the way children think about disability. A support coordinator who walks beside her participants every day. A community builder. A champion.

Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing their stories across our social channels. From employment pathways to community sport, these stories show what can happen when people are given the tools and support to thrive.

Because behind every statistic is a person, and behind every outcome is a story worth telling.
